The article isnt very well written, but makes good points.
I got extremely bored with L4D 1 & 2, because you play through the same 4-5 mini campaigns over and over. In Reach's Firefight 2.0 you can at least change through dozens of different maps and dictate what kind of enemies you fight, how many, and what their basic AI behaviors are.
And Racing in Halo 3/Reach can and is just as fun as Mario Kart.
Its pretty kickass when an simp...
Half-Life and CS only have more content when you take into account user created content, which is limitless on PC, quality is variable depending on the creator, and is not verified and made by the actual developers.
there isnt much to complain about, but load times or the PSN's browser are a bit slower than my computer, and like Blacktric stated, youtube's videos can only be viewed in 360p on PSN as well.
But just like PSN, being able to check Yahoo email and having Youtube on your 360 wouldnt be a bad thing though, all it would do is just give the $50 a year more bang for your buck.
My theater offers some films in 2d and 3d versions, but it definitely did not offer Avatar or How to Train Your Dragon in regular 2d, and ive noticed the same thing for other films i wasnt going to see.
Thats a good idea you mentioned actually.
Although Nowgamer needs to do more research, and the author is clearly bias, reason number three is a solid reason no doubt about it. PS3-only gamers have not played the first Mass Effect, and are missing out on a ton of story details that help fuel the plot of Mass Effect 2.
Even if Bioware comes up with an okay solution to filling the events of the first game for PS3 gamers, it would still be like a friend saying "here is what happened in A New Hope so that you can enj...
I dont even want to play in 3D. Im sick of having to pay $11.50 for a fucking ticket just to see a movie because the local theaters offer popular films in 3D only, i guess to make more money.
Im hate this new 3D craze and im not alone. i dont want it to effect my gaming either.
Im willing to bet you dont have a six pack yourself.
Being overweight is a serious psychological issue for many people, otherwise they would get right up with tons of willpower and lose it all in no time. Youre an ignorant kid i bet, and know nothing about the subject, and it shows.
Being overweight has nothing to do with creativity and intelligence, and does not hamper the ability to make a great game.
The point of the logic is that you were never able to have it on your PS3, hence the name, >Console< Exclusive.
I for one would rather just have it on my 360 than use up space and resources on my average quality comp. You cant even mod the PC version of ME1 and ME2 so whats the fucking point of having it on PC anyway? Plus i have a Vizio 32" HDTV hooked up to the 360 so its not like i give a damn about resolution too much.
There are literally dozens of minor characters that pop up based on your actions and side missions from ME1 in ME2. Ive beaten the game twice, so i think id know the effect more than you.
I never said they affected the overall plot anyway, i stated that they "added a lot of spice to the game". Its a great feature not seen in most other games, gives the player a sense of cause/effect, and adds a personal touch to your playthrough.
How fucking hard is...
There are still plenty of reasons to own a 360, and the Mass Effect experience is still much better on 360 because the first game is on PC/360, not PS3, and the Import ME1 save feature(a great addition) is not present in the PS3 version of ME2.
There will be a lot of PS3-only owners browsing Steam to get a somewhat full experience.
Using your ME1 save in ME2 was a huge feature that added a lot of spice to the game. It affects the way certain people encounter you and decides if certain characters are even in ME2 based on whether you let them live or die in ME1. Not to mention, ME2 presents some serious choices to the character that obviously will have consequences in ME3.
Im sorry to say it, but PS3 owners simply dont have that great feature with their experience(as far as ME1 and ME2 are concerned, ME3 ...
I dont see how move is much better than Kinect except to say that i havent seen the games that Move will support yet.
Im not much for any of this motion control stuff anyway.
the PS3 version doesnt even have real grass in the pic of the guy and the tree, its a flat texture.
Thats a horribly lazy port.
is an idiot. No one cares what kind of "facts" he or anyone else posts. I beat Alan Wake. Its a great game. Something to be proud of once youre finished. There. Thats all i need.
Im not a video annalist, but it could be fake and probably is.
"From the beginning, you face five to ten enemies, throw a few grenades, pull out your battle rifle, four shot everything, rinse, repeat."
Would someone inform this guy that the Battle Rifle wasnt in Halo 3 ODST at all and will not be in Reach either? The "four shot" doesnt even exist in ODST and Reach.
This guy is struggling for attention. There are plenty of good franchises that maintain the core concept of the game since the beginning l...
Nowhere in the article that you linked does it mention anything about being .1 better than Uncharted. The review scores say that but the guy who wrote that article never mentions it.
Not even that, but the Mass Effect 2 review was written by a different guy while this article is just one guys opinion who works at IGN of how he thinks Mass Effect 2 could could be seen as the better game.
Stick with the site more, they have articles from different perspectives...
The textures, lighting and polygons received a nice upgrade, but Bungie also equally upgraded the processing power of the Halo engine so that they can render more on screen at once. More enemies, allies, vehicles, larger areas, etc.
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
The overall engine has been very much improved, i dont see why there should be any reason to complain. With everything they have...
Skirmishers are a new enemy, and the Elites are back, which havent been an enemy type since halo 2 in 2004.
Keep up with Bungies Weekly Updates every Friday night and they will hook you up with loads of info.
IGN didnt take the time to give it separate reviews because its obvious that although the game isnt horrible, it apparently is quite the let-down anyway you look at it.
Generic shooting mechanics, empty and lifeless world, stiff animations, etc. have nothing to do with sheer graphics.
IGN is quite credible, and one guy thought GTA 4 deserved a ten. I suppose MGS 4 actually deserved a ten then, because IGN gave it one the same year as GTA 4. Im sure most her...
